The best part about being a graphic designer? Creative freedom. But what should you do when the creative juices just aren’t flowing? Check out these five websites that we use to kick start the creative process.

## iStock

Stock photography, illustrations and videos—this is our go-to resource for anything and everything we need. Whether you want to subscribe to a monthly package, or pay-as-you-go with image packs, this site offers affordable prices with a wide variety of creative content.

## Flaticon

Need a simple vector icon? This website has tons of free line art that you can download as png, svg, eps and psd files. Open up the file, edit the colors, add your own stylistic elements and you’re ready to go.

## Logopond

Not sure what a client means when they say they want a “clean and modern” logo? Send them to this site to pick out visual examples of their design preferences. Odds are you’ll see a common creative thread, which will make your job easier as a graphic designer.

## Pinterest

I mean, who doesn’t love Pinterest? Just about every time a new project begins, we create a new inspiration board and pin away. Clients can also use this site to pin creative inspiration to a “secret” board for their designer to reference.

## WhatTheFont

Need to match a font from a client’s existing [marketing](https://www.kiwicreative.net/creative-marketing-services/online-marketing-in-cleveland/)materials, but can’t quite tell what it’s called? Upload a screenshot to this site and it’ll tell you the closest matches. Hours of manual detective work saved!
